Every Rescue is inundated with kittens that must be bottle-fed. We are no exception. There are at times up to 9 kittens that need feeding at one foster home alone. Sometimes these kittens are orphaned, while other times mom is sick and her milk becomes toxic ( ie; Acute Septic Mastitis, Acute Metritis ) These kittens need experienced people to bottle feed and comfort.
Surro Nursers help by feeding and comforting a few kittens at one time, leaving the feeder to monitor and watch for any possible symptoms of sickness or iron deficiency within each. Assisting kittens at one time keeps stress for the hungry ones at a minimal. They will also be able to cuddle up with the heated nurser afterwards.
Asking for the assistance in this manner will be useful to obtain the feeders right after we have achieved raising the funds needed. We are asking for two different Surro Nursers. One is the original Surro Kitty with a heartbeat and just enough heat to keep them warm as mom would do. ( 1@$265.00 ) The second is a Surro Kitty with heat and a purring sound, so the kitties feel as if mom is right beside them. ( 1@$195.00 )
