Campaign Story
Despite being required by state law, Marengo County does not have a animal control facility. Most calls for assistance with abandoned or orphaned animals come to Bigbee Humane Society. Bigbee is an all volunteer group full of employed people. Assisting with bottle babies is TOUGH. Adding at least one surro-nurser to a foster home would be a huge help to those running home on their lunch break to feed orphans or trying to juggle orphan animals while on the clock at their paying job.
